I agree[sm=smiley32.gif] However, when the nightmares start[sm=insomnia.gif], and you have to have shock therapy to ease the pain you'll experience for years everytime you relive the awful sight of your hog being violated by that biatch. The $1500.00 will seem woefully shy of the compensation you should have recieved[sm=smiley19.gif]
Hope she learned something. Glad you stopped her from driving. She would have probably killed someone. And the stats show that the drunk driver usually doesn't die in a crash.
It happens every day, in some parking lot, somewhere. It could have been much worse, glad it wasn't. You probably could have got another $1000 for mental anguish.
Thanks for the welcoming. I've had hundreds of close calls (as everyone has), but I thought that was the funniest one to share. I figured it would be too depressing as a hello to share the story of when I watched my Dad run over a deer. Everyone ride safe and I'll talk to you in some other posts.
Hope you weren't the one serving her to a .24!
Definitely not me. I've been bartending for 3 years and I've learned when to cut someone off.... then when they bitch at you for it, you get to throw em out. What a job.
If you really think about it...your smash up probably saved some innocent guy's life if she was at .24 and driving. She deserves a DUI and you should have sent a letter to the Judge with a photo of the damage so he can kick her a$$ at penalty & fine time. If she was to drunk to manuever in a freakin parking lot then she should lose her license for at least 1 year. I had some sober lady back over my bike at a shopping mall so I know how pissed you get. Sorry about the damage.
