I think I'm pretty much with ya on this, although, once in a while, when you need to rant about something that's really bugging you,you can find a lot of great responses from some really good people that understand your problem and are more than willing to help. That ,to me,makes this place worth it's weight in gold.
It's also pretty funny to read about people trying to figure out what type of oil they should mix with their fuel, or, my bike fell over ,what should I do? The old "drinking threads" used to be a riot!!!! Especially the one with all the gumby figures in it!! there musta been 150 replies that night,it had to be the greatest nite on here!!!!
The place has quite a cross-section of personalities on it,some split, some multiple and some astronomical!!! All in all though I can sum it by quoting J.Garcia."What a long strange trip it's been"
I'm on several forums and I gotta say, I enjoy this one the most...cool bikes, great ideas and info, and good people for the most part just here to have a good time...I did some time in PROD and learned that you don't have to go to every fight you're invited to...lmao...I enjoy a cup of coffee and a little time here each day...but like others, as the weather warms up, I'm on the road more and here less...
Well....I'm still a Hang Around, not having my first 100 posts but I've gotten so I really like the forum. When I become a prospect do I have to fetch the beer?
