Question 2009 Ultra Glide

Had a 2007 Street Glide.... Sold at 17,500 miles - spent $8,000 to get it right for long hauls, but just never felt that good....

May pick up a 2009 Ultra Glide on Friday if it comes in...

Pros cons ?? Looking for info.

What should I change first

Ride it first. Do at least the break in miles to decide what you want / need.
Although I won't have another bike without heated grips.

Only thing that was hard to keep from chging was the awful stock pipes ... but grit my teeth until after the 1,000 mile service before made any changes... 1,000 Mile service was included with the deal so keep it 100% stock until then after that was my turn...

Riders backrest, highway pegs. Rush slipons or Monster Ovals with SE AC,Stage 1 Download. Move to SERT or PCV later.

I agree with the above... except get the SERT done now. Why wait and you just might get it done with a nice discount if you beg and plead a little.

Mine is stock completely, but I'll be adding highway pegs very soon.
