One thing to consider when comparing the lower end GPS units to the more expensive ones is that most of the cheaper units do not have the ability to store route maps.
Basic GPS units let you specify a beginning and ending point and then select the fastest or shortest distance route to get from point A to B.
If you want the ability to do pre-ride route planning using specific roads of your choice or the ability to load a route file created by someone else, you'll need one of the upper tier units to get that feature. These upper end units typically have the ability to store about 10 route maps.
zumo 450 here. I'd also recommend a true water resistant model. I've been caught in a couple pretty bad rain storms and it never misses a beat. I went with the 450 as I really didn't care about the bluetooth capability.
