O.K. I watched the video . I saw a plastic engine apear to be running . I'm sure it wasn't though . I'll tell ya why . way back when I was in trade school . We had a G.M. rep come in with these cool and very light plastic pistons . The had a sort off ceramic top too . everyone got one to check out . But we couldn't keep em . He had us beat them against the floor as hard as we could . Some even beat them on other harder objects . We could not even make a dent in those things . I've never seen anything like it before , or again . He told us they we developed for a prototype vette engine . that made 375 h.p. Course this was in 83 or 84 . I can't remember . But a vette with 375 h.p. didn't mean alot to us . we drove cars to school that had more ponies than that . What impressed us , was that the new vette motor was a 4 cyl. . Yep that was a shock to us ! The motor was all plastic , and even clear to boot . Seems they were thinkin of makin the vette into a smaller car . Be he said they had decided against it . But he brought along some parts to show us what direction the future might be going . One of us asked him if you could see through it when it was running . His answer ............Nope , cause when you add oil and water . You really can't see a thing . ..............
