8 - 10k a year. Wish it was more but I'm too old to be free as a bird and to young to be retired and without responsibilities. Family and work seem to cut into my saddle time. Not to mention winter seems to just show up uninvited once every year [:'(]
This is my first H-D. Picked it up new in Aug 2005. Today I put in about 100 miles with a grand total of 8,500. I figure 1000 miles a month would be a good average for me. One good thing about living in SoCal.
Haven't done that many in many years. Carpooling. Till now. Put 2000 on in the past 2 months, and should have no problem getting my 10k this year.
Would you believe it: tried to schedule a check up for today, and couldn't because the stealer said he was packed with bikes people are taking out for the summer. AND THIS IS CALIFORNIA for crying out loud. I don't get it. You can easily ride year round here.
