I took out T and W on 2011 at 13K had a piece of metal in the rear tire...a small piece...out the door $358...my cost 000. Was worth it for sure. My coverage goes for 6 years but was around $550..First time, I every took T and W but with the way the 408's wear (passed experience) I figured get this time.
The extended warranty is transferable if you sell the bike. If the OP bought the bike used it may have already had it and the finance person just didn't mention it.
Currently have flat....was wondering if rather than have it towed in, could I just plug tire and bring to dealer for tire warranty work?
I know this is an old thread but I'll answer your question anyway. If you have a question about tire warranty, why not just ask your dealer and see they say, simple.
actually, i asked the cna representative this exact question. his response was to hang on to the screw that you pulled out in case cna wanted to send an inspector out.
if i were on the road and got a flat, before i plugged it, i would call cna (the number is on the card they give you, and let them know what i wanted to do and be sure to mention that it would save them the cost of a tow.....

I would add to your comment to take a photo of the object in the tire before removal. Be sure and be able to see the tread on the tire also. The minimum tread depth listed on the HD Ex Warr is 3/32 considering a front tire has 6/32 when new there isn't a lot of coverage for a front tire.

I bought the extended warranty and tire & wheel coverage, and have no card. Someone said it won't be sent until the factory 2 yr warranty is up. Is this not true?

My selling dealer gave me a card with the bike. On the back of the card is handwritten the Service Contract Number, Buyer's Signature, & Date

the cards are just 'blanks'. the dealer should have a handful of them. if they won't give you one, ask another dealer. all the information you need is on your contract and you can just copy it over from there.
your esp runs concurrently with your factory warranty so there is no logical reason for them to wait till your two year is up. there are benefits that begin immediately, like the trip coverage, towing, etc.
