new american thunder
Theres just too many hot great lookin chicks who ride and know bikes to have this little twit on there. If you want to do a bike rideing 101 show then do it, but dont call it American Thunder!!
So I guess the big show this year will be the honda hoot review!!!!
I liked that guy too, not too charasmatic host type, but seemed like a cool guy.
Anyway, I dvr'd through it, both episodes to date.
Charity - Cute, prob not bad to have on a segment here and there as eye candy, show the ladies they don't need to be skerrrrred, etc., but as a main character, I'm not interested in someone that knows nothing about bikes having a major speaking role on this kind of show.
Survivor guy hosting - Ummm ok, wth? He's so short w/ his intros and explanations, you really have no idea what's going on, or it's just lame, he hasn't said one interesting thing that I can think of.
Metrics - Ok, mix in some from time to time, but a whole damn show about metrics on your 2nd episode of the NEW AMERICAN THUNDER, wtf are they smoking?
Working on bikes - Whether metrics or not, you couldn't even keep up w/ what they were doing, they threw a bunch of crap on there in a few choppy minutes, no detailed explanation, no real recap of what was done or what the finished product looked like. Even the 'sound system' at the end, the music was piped into the track, that wasn't the actual system playing, w/ proper equipment they could have given you a feel for what the speakers sounded like, and man that dude workin on it had freakin wires everywhere, looked like spaghetti w/ no explanation to what he was doing, one frame a bunch of wires, next frame a finished install. Huh? What was I suppoed to get out of that?
Most interesting thing was the .5 second cameo of Jason Britton walking by at the bike show, reminded me I'd rather watch super bikes than that gargage, damn.
