i like that fulmer helmet but i have a huge head and all the 3/4 and 1/2 helmets i've come across looks huge on my head. i'm 5'9" but i have to wear a xxl or if i'm lucky a xl depending on the brand. full face is the only helmuts that don't make me look retarded. but man, i love taht old school 3/4 look.
I have the exact fulmer helmet in that picture you attached. i love it. Its super light and doesnt give you that "orange on a toothpick" look. I love it.
Definitely agree with you. The store I saw one at only had it in an XXL and it actually looked really good on. I'm sure a Lg will look even better. Very comfortable too. Maybe it's just some people's heads. I'm ordering one in black with the American Flag on it in a Lg and can't wait to get it. Find a store that carries them and I bet you won't be disappointed.
I got a fulmer v2 black with a white stripe down the middle and American flag on both sides its a nice helmet for the price also on the highway it cuts down on the wind going into my ears.
In Terrms of the Fulmer V2 vs the Daytona Cruiser, any personal preferences, or even better, pics? Very interested to see if either looks not so huge when on. I hear that the Daytona is pretty low profile in tyerms of shell size, but I sure do like that new Bobber Green that the Fulmer comes in!!
Also curious how the fit is on either. I take a small in Icon full face helmets, as well as HJC 3/4 and Arai full face, but some 3/4 and 1/2 helmets in the same numeric size range are a bit too loose(like Outlaw helmets).

I rode yesterday to conneticut to go get the fulmer helmet. I ended up getting the black one with the white stripe and us flag. This helmet is cool its light weight and is not thick at all. I bought an xl normally wear a Lg. I held it next to a sm hjc and the hjc outer diamater was about 2 inches bigger!
Looks really good! nice and low profile and old school. glad I got it.
I have this one, not exactly pure old school, but more of a modern spin on old school (if there can be such a thing). Real comfortable, and decent ventilation (you can take the face shield off real quickly and easily as well)...

The CS-5n may be more of what you are looking for though...
The HJC CS-5N was what I was wearing when I went down last thursday, it did its job. The 09 verson is now Snell approved, a tougher test than DOT. Available most everywhere for 60-70 bucks, you can't beat it.
