I got mine off ebay. Fuji finepix, I love it and it takes great pics. Lots of camera's on ebay with great prices that you won't see in stores.

Alot of them sell as packages with stands,SD card, carry cases and such.

I actually wouldnt mind becoming a dealer for them... just need the time, and money.

Dont get me wrong theres a TON of options when it comes to taking video/pictures on a bike... theres 3 things that need to be looked at on a personal/individual basis.

1. Safety - can you "operate" it being 100% safe on the road (just like cell phones and cages, they dont mix)
2. Ease of use/Setup - What fits your taste, what do you want to do, and will it work with what your riding.
3. Cost/Performance Ratio - is the setup your looking at worth the money?

Since i ride a bagger, my mounting/recording options are almost unlimited... i can use a camcorder with a bullet cam, the ram mount, or use any number of other options.

The camcorder with a bullet cam is a good option, but i dont want to "stop" the bike to start or stop recording, plus even the new camcorders are a bit bulky and sensitive. Theres the "go pro cam" that you can find at cycle gear for about 140 bucks, its suction mounted, and ONLY can use a 2gig card to record, that about 1-1 1/2 hours of video.

I went with my set up because i can carry extra batteries, i have a 4 gig card, and i can still take regular stills with it, i can unmount it from the bike, and take it with me in my pocket.

The plus on the ram mount is you only need ONE mounting ball, for any number of accessories... GPS, cup holder, phone, camera.... so all in all the ram mount/camera combo was the most cost effective combo.

I was at bike week and saw a guy using the go pro camera on a demo bike (forgot what manufacturer) but i was asking him about it, pro's, con's ect... and the guy threw a huge attitude when i suggested he check out the ram mount... and then when i showed him my little digital camera he really got bent!

Sweet! - your going to love the RAM Mount! the camera should work good, watch out for bugs and road grime it will kill the camera/camcorder (ask me how i know!)

The camcorder may be a bit trickier depending on the weight... as sturdy as the ram mount is, watch the vibration. I have a Digital Hard Drive camcorder that was VERY sensitive to the vibrations, even my Hi8 camcorder took a beating.
