I owned 2 different Kawasaki 750 Mach IV 2-stroke triples. One was ported and had expansion chamber mufflers. It would run in the low 12's in the quarter mile. The funny thing was it would only get about 18 miles per gallon. They had to be one of the most uncomfortable bikes to ride any distance but, they were fun.

I had a Honda Cl 77 Scrambler(67) and saw one go for about 10,000 at an auction in Daytona about 15 yrs. ago.It had 12miles on it !!!! This isn't the one but it's pretty nice !!!

I have a 1975 175 kaw. with 500 miles on it all original except hthe air cleaner. I t dry rotted. 2 stroke.

First new road bike I ever bought was a 1972 Kawasaki 750 triple. That was one quick bike. I road it from SE Michigan out to ND and then into Canada and around the top of Lake Superior in 1974. A touring bike it wasn't, but it was reliable. I know it got better that 18 mpg too, otherwise I wouldn't have made it between gas stations in Canada.
