I have a 95 heritage softail I been riding for about a yearnow. Recently had several gaskets and seals replaced due to oil leaks. after bout 2 or 3 hundred miles developed a sucking sound at the front upper rocker cover gasket. you can cover the spot with your finger and it will stop. what causes such a vacum in the rocker box?

I'd try posting this in the EVO section for more replies.. But, my first question would be, what air cleaner have you got on the bike? If its a restrictive filter housing, or dirty filter, it will suck air from wherever it can get it.. The breathers would be a natural source..

Does your breather hose go to the intake??
It should either dump on the groun or back in the fresh air side of the filter, not the intake side of the carb... Definitly strange.. EVO forum would be the best bet..
