I have Draggin jeans. Very well made, but haven't "tested" them yet. I'll go on the word of others that they work. Same as a bullet proof vest, hope it worls, hope you never have to find out.
I've been wearing the Cortech riding jeans for a couple years now. They have a leather panel in the seat area and in the knee area. They also have removable armor in the knee area.
A pair of these jeans did an excellent job of saving my A$$ in a 70 mph pavement surf after being hit by a hit n run driver on the freeway in November. I got up and walked away from it thanks to my gear. The jeans in paricular were worn through right down to the leather panel on the right buttock. I shudder to think of the road rash I would have had there if not for that leather seat panel. The denim seat/pocket material had simply vaporized from the high speed skidding. The leather did it's job very well.
Here's an issue with any kevlar clothing... is it sewn together with kevlar threads?
Reason I mention this is that kevlar thread is way strong and doesn't tear. If that thread were to get caught on something, say the bike, it can tear right through the jeans, your flesh, and even bone.

Sounds reasonable, in theory, but I think this would fall into the same category as the "Don't wear a helmet because it will break your kneck" thread.
