Final Assembly for all the bikes was York but I think thats changing. I heard they were closing that plant and moving back to Milwaukee where everything else is. The main Museum used to be there also, don't know if thats still there since the new one opened in Milwaukee last year.
I really doubt any rumors of closing York are true. HD spent a ton of money remodeling that plant back in 2008 or so. Busted the union and reduced headcount by about 50% but supposedly now a very modern efficient production plant. Major part of the MoCo turnaround after the economy tanked back then. Most people dont know that the MoCo took about $4 billion in money help from Uncle Sam. Wasnt just the banks and car companies!
