My guess , is that the car wouldn't be laying on it's side if it was hit at the speed limit .
All later model vehicles have a computer module similar to a "black box" you would find on an airplane... It records all data including if the vehicle was braking, accelarating, or idle. It can and should be pulled from the vehicle as part of the death investigation. So with that being said, they can tell from the data how fast the vehicle was going or it it was slowing down etc... Also crash reconstruction will support the findings from the computer module

Watch out in Georgia. I heard that Sonny was supposed to sign into law some new speeding fines yesterday. They are to add $200 in fines to any speeding ticket if you get caught going over 75 mph on a 2 lane road or 85 mph on a 4 lane road. Watch it out there!

I couldn't care less about his opnion or yours for that matter, everyone has a right to an opinion. I'm just curious why someone would even go to the trouble post the way he did. If it doesn't affect him in any way or he doesn't care then why put in writing. Seemed a little arrogant in my book...
