Fxr models
Anyone here who has/had an FXR. Im looking for another bike. Have been riding XL883C 2005. Bike hit by car mabee Ins will right it off...What years are FXR? are they heavy? easy to ride? parts easy to get? Etc etc...The choice is either an FXR or an XL1200C 2005...I don't need to be buying trouble...FXR is $12500,$13500 & 1200C is $13900. This is on road..

I ride a 90 fxrs-sp, rode quite a few other models, just love the handling of the fxr line. The prices you quoted must be inflated for the cost to ship there, cause here in the states they don't go for that much, just surprised at the price difference. I've had no problems getting parts. Harleys for the most part are like small block chevies on early models. You can make it work, has been my experience. Again it kinda blows me away the $$$$ that they and probably all harleys command down under.
