How many younger folks out their ride a harley? Im only 19 and am probably much more expected to be on a crotch rocket lol but its not my style at all. Love the sport cruiser type of bike. My mom and dad bought me the 1200c for my graduation present this year, and it had been laid over, so it makes for a great father son project.
38 years young... don't listen to your MySpace and Twitter generation. There's a lot of us out there that's not installing a mount for our walkers just yet.
Congrats on the bike. It's a project that you will look back on as a defining moment with your father.
You are one lucky young man.My father said no motorcycles, after I already bought for my first Harley at age 14,this was 1962.Lucky for me, he relented and said Okay as long as the bike was never underfoot.Been building and riding the twins since then.
Wow you are a different one in the crowd. Most 19 year olds want the sport bikes ( I did) and grow out of them. Sounds like you have cool parents. BTW only 36
that is cool that you and your dad can do a project together. enjoy every second you can and trust me you will remember it all your life.and by the way age dont matter i'am 56 year's young.
I got a sportster when I was 15. Been riding ever since. Never had or wanted a crotch rocket.
The next time you talk to Mom and Dad ask them if they will adopt me. I would love to be their son. I'll throw in 2 grandkids (mostly housebroke) and a lovely daughter-in-law.
Tell Dad that he can get me a sportster or maybe a fatboy. It doesn't have to be new.
I was 19 when I bought my first one. It started something that still hasn't ended. I'm 42 now, and that's still young
You must have some amazing parents. Ask them if they're looking to adopt
