I was taught many years ago from my Dad how to do Spokes, He worked at are local HD Dealership....part time, and repaired bicycles for the kids in town.
If you really want to know how to tune a wheel? get a spoked bicycle wheel and a fork, old used and abused, makes no difference!
Use the fork in a vise, and mount the bike fork looking up in the vise, and you will learn how to do it!....its not that hard to do. Just try it? Its very simple to do.
