Also from New hampshire, no helmet laws for adults here,I have a harley DOT half helmet and a shoei RF-1000 I never ride without a helmet,or leathers. Went down hard once years ago,tore the front of a bell full face right off,and wore my leathers down to tissue paper thick,walked away from that crash after i stopped blacking out,and could stand back on my feet,lol

www.carbonfiberhelmets.com Dot approved half helmuts that are so light and half the size. No mushroomhead look. Wife and I both have them and love them. Also both have full face for longer and colder rides. Michael

HJC full face started wearing it this winter when I got my bike and have been wearing it all the time, I also have a 3/4 Bell wore it once a couple of weeks ago between the bugs and the high amount of pollen in the air I won't be wearing it much until it warms up more here in NY.

my first bike will be in , in a few days i am kicking around what kinda helmets to wear so i have a of each for diffrent riding conditions 1/2 3/4 and full face helmets are cheaper the a cat scan if u are that lucky ..its too easy to check out of life on a bike. its all personal prefrence. i never laughed at any 1 with a helmet and never will . i feel if u are riding u are part of the family no matter what u are wearing . just be safe 90% of the time wreck will no be your fault its the others around you.
