Thanks everybody!!

I put another 60Kms on her today. It's SO hard to have to stay off the highway... I really want to open her up. I know one thing, when the weather gets warm and sunny, I will be missing a lot of work, hehehe... I LOVE just being in the saddle (even though the badlander is rough on the ***! ), and she gets lots of second looks. Most people are used to chromed to the gills Harleys, and they notice when a blacked out one rides by!

Cheers!

It is bad to have to wait for a long time for a motorcycle, than to have to wait some more for the breakin to get over. One of these days you'll be able to open it up and not look back. Enjoy the ride.

I remember back in the mid 90's this HD Dealer in Santa Barbra specialized in Blacked out HDs. I remember seeing a Fat Boy with Powder coated Bars, Controls, Air cover, forks, handle bars, struts, Disk wheels, mirrors, ness dash, Speedo assembly, oil tank, heads, full cam cover, inner and outter primary, floor boards and passenger pegs and exhaust. It looked wild. Almost looked like the whole thing was a black plastic motorcycle. Like it was not real or something. Something different.

Awesome bike, dude. I'll bet she sounds ferkin' loud in that garage . You have my sympathy about the weather, I don't think it stopped raining here until until I'd done about 1,500 miles [:'(].

Met a guy at the weekend who had picked his new Night Train up two weeks ago. Didn't recognise it at first - he'd spent about ÂŁ3,000 on chrome on it. Sort of killed the "Night Train" look , but looked real nice anyway.

Take care.

That's so weird. The coolest thing about the Train is the blacked out look. If he wanted a chromed out HD, why not start with Softail Standard, and go form there?

My baby gets SO many second looks. She's not just a typical chrome to the max HD, she's all BLACK!! Hehehe... I was at Wendy's eating, and I was sitting near a indow so I could keep an eye on her, and I saw a guy come out with his family, and before he got in his car, he checked her out for about 5 minutes!

Cheers!
