hey everyone,
i'm looking for a place to get reasonably priced, fully functional, stylish riding glasses.
the only places i know of now are H-D, and flying pig eyewear. is there any other place out there that is popular with everyone?
i like the cylinder eyewear from h-d but geez, kinda pricey, but if they work i'd pay that much. and on flying pig, i like the wileyx but other than that there's not much to choose from.
so ya, just wonderin where everyone gets their ridin glasses.
oh and if you have experience with either of the kinds i mentioned please feel free to share your reviews!
I've got a pair of WileyX Top Jimmies. I didn't like the way they feel at first, but I'm getting used to them. I want to get a pair of 7eye's but can't pull the trigger.
Used WileyX in Iraq and they always put pressure on my temples which caused headaches. A lot of the guys in my unit said they did the same to them also.
Wiley x are the best for me. the best thing about it is that you can buy the set with the three different lenses clear, smoke and amber. the amber lens are great for night rides. they also sale extra foam cushion which is real comfortable
Try a bicycle shop. You can get glasses with interchangeable lenses for pretty cheap. I think I paid $20 for the last pair - came with smoke, clear and amber lenses in a hard case.
I went to the local metric motorcycle shop and bought a set of curvz sunglasses. they have the foam around the inside of them to keep the wind and dust out of your eyes and work well. $25 and on my second pair.

Just bought the Wiley X AirRage at my HD dealer.
They're transitional so you don't need to mess with lenses.
Just did a 2000 mi trip and they worked flawlessly!
No fogging, comfortable, no crap in my eyes, the seal and strap work perfectly, and the optics are awsome.
I've only used $20 glasses until now. I'll never go back!
Only gripe with the transitional's - don't get dark enough. But they still work great!
I've only worn Oakleys. I can wear them riding, when I go shoot at the range, waterskiiing, snow skiiing and of course riding. They are not cheap. But you get what you pay for.
