I can tell you one thing, the MoCo don't discount bikes.

That'd be great but I doubt it. Do you think HD would prefer to sell a bike with an 103" engine for 3% more than an 09 with its 96" when they can sell the 103" upgrade for a grand and have the dealers charge $$ to install it? Doesn't make any business sense to me, neither for HD nor for the dealers. Plus I seriously doubt that an aircooled 103" engine would meet EPA regulations anyway.
Did I miss something?

I'm in the same place and made my decision. Why should I lose $1000 to $1500 on last year's model if I buy it without a fair discount to compensate for that? I'll wait for 2010. Tough for them to raise prices in this economy. By the end of July or the beginning of August they'll be making deals. If not, they can keep the 09's; I'll be riding a 10.
