OUTSTANDING HDF Member !!!!!
And I "MEAN" outstanding.
MNPGRrider, to ya'll.
Saturday was the Annual "PATRIOT RIDE". 2000+ by some reports, and I BELIEVE IT.
We pulled in, and before we got off the scoots, and turned around, up walks a BIG CHIT EATIN' grin, and a hand out,
"You must be Gump?? MNPGR here."
He has posted a boatload of pics for YOUR n joyment.

So, WHOOPEE, what makes that so "outstanding"? Well, THAT DOESN'T.
But he was asked, and kindly accepted, to escort one of the Gold Star Mom's, for the "Ride". That IS, OUTSTANDING.
Congrats on being asked, Al, and even more kudos, for accepting, and completing your 'mission', Saturday.
As nice as it was Saturday, hard to forget the 'frigid' mission in Granite Falls, that was jus' flat butt cold !!!!!!
Glad to see your post, meant you made it back home, complete.
Side note:
After the "Ride", I parked the Cap'n by the BSMC booth, it draws folks over, and they were having a give away for a mini-bike. Just so happened, the Patriot Ride Give Away FLHX (which by the way, was won by some KLOWN from, of ALL places, Slidell, Loozanna) was also parked there. According to the guys manning the booth, multiple ppl walked up and asked,
"Is THAT the bike they are giving away, today???" (pointing at the chopper
)
Why, YES it is. Hustle over and buy MORE tickets.
BUT, WTG, Al !!!!!!!!! WAY glad to say I met you, Sir. And Thanx for getting her to and from, safely.
So in amongst the azzless chaps, the 'lumpy' oatmeal, the Garmon recalls, 5th gear whinin' that goes on here, there occassionally surfaces a worthy post. IMHO, THIS IS ONE of those posts. THANX for reading it!!!

Hey Gumby: I waved at you and hollered when we went by you. I was with the St. Cloud HOG Group Ride for Life. We passed you guys on the other side of the road, I think that it was somewhere near Orrack. I thought my arm was going to fall off from waving and I could not stop smiling at how impressive it was to see so many bikes.
Next year we will be with the PGR.
