I ride to work, 36 miles one way. I don't seem to have the issues/problems that some of you have. I do see the the occasional attempted late lane change, but nothing as dramatic as I am reading. Maybe carrying a black nite stick in a nice leather sheath, would look bitchin and would work better than the boot to the door
I have a get back whip on each bike. Never had to use it, but it is always there. I am not sure if the get back whip hanging from the brake handle would get LEO attention but I know that a night stick hanging on the bike will. The whip is also longer than a night stick.

I just read an article that California is trying to make an issue out of the whips as being a slung shot and thus prohibited. Haven't seen the conclusions to this in the courts yet. Slung shot--their wording not mine. I have never heard that phrase before. Sling shot yes--slung shot no.

Okay, we all know cagers have a habit of changing lanes into us, but how often does this happen?
Today I had an idiot come into my lane, and I honked the horn and slammed the brakes, just like normal. The kicker is, he heard my horn, waved to me in his mirror and then kept coming over regardless! How is this possible? I am so sick of cagers....
Haha I had that happen to me tonight on the way home. Always gives me a good laugh at least
Nice big boot print in the door will make you feel better though.
I actually did that once. Damn near caused me to crash and then the jerk-off chased me for several miles at 100+ mph before he tired of it and backed off.
Happens way too damn often. Exactly how do you wield a whip while riding? And do ppl toss the bearings at the car, road or windshield? Seriously I'm curious?

I used to go from calm to raging mad in an instance. I am older now I tend to be a little calmer and not let others get to me to much. I still get pi$$ed off at drivers not paying attention. Instead of yelling at them . I try to get their attention and let them know in a very nice calm rational manner that they should pay attention .. we all share the road.
I don't understand it. I had a truck pulling a boat basically run me off the road a few weeks ago. From behind! He passed me in a merging lane knowing full well that there wasn't enough room and that I would have no choice but to move over onto the shoulder.
When we see someone merging, we go into the left lane to avoid problems
