That political orginizations don't have to follow the federal do not call list?
My phone has been ringing like I'm running a business. Don't they realize that when they bug the crap out of you, it makes you not want to vote for them?
I don't want to do a survey, I don't have 15 minutes to tell you how I feel about the candidates, I'm not telling you who I am voting for, I'm not telling you my salary range, whether I own my home or not, or any of the dozens of other questions that are none of their business.
I have gotten at least 10 calls just today, and its only 2pm!

It is because our great grovernment, in my opinion, the largest organized crime family in the world leads by exception not by example. The excempt themselves from just about every law.

The ones I cannot stand is the "please donate to your local law enforcement" calls I get.
The funny part is my home phone is STRICTLY a fax number. It has never been given to ANYONE except as a fax, I am on the do not cal list, I am not listed, an I still get ALL these STUPID calls.

Record this "out of service" tone at the begining of your answering machine message. Let the answering machine pickup and the computerized autodailers with think your number is no good and stop calling.

I went 100% cell and don't miss the spam calls at all.
When I last had a landline it went directly to answering machine.

I just tell them that the money that was in the past given to political campaigns by my company is now being used to buy LD phone cards for soldiers in IRAQ (which it is) and if they want to help out they should consider doing the same.......then I ask if they have a problem with that and if they do I would like their name and the name of their candidate so I can alert the National Media that their group doesn't support the troops. Then I tell them to call back anytime. They don't. ...........gee wonder why?
