Sorry to hear about this. I always lock mine down but I also put it under a Honda cover, no one will steal a Goldwing.

Heck, I lock the ignition and the fork when I put it in the garage of an evening.

I suppose at some point I might put in a concrete anchor, but I don't know. Parking the car a few inches from the garage door makes it nigh impossible to get the bike out unless you move the car first.

The genius that built my garage built it juuuuust a hair smaller than a modern-day car. Plenty of room for my Harley, tools, and a work environment, but no room for a car.
