I see your point...and that is why I invite you to read the posts in your spare time..you will see that I am not the only one affected. Just teh one helping to spread the word to help out others and potentially find other victims. One guy on the VTX forum was going to use him and this info helped save him some potential headache.
I hope that Doug snaps out of it and sends everyone thier money/ and or tins back asap to end this mess. that would be best for all. I would be happy with a stock nice non dented set of tins at this point.

That suck good luck in trying to find this. I have to disagree with my fellow forum member on this one but I understand his point. I will go to every website to drag his name in the mud and warn other about this scum bag. Since he toook you money you have the right to run his name through the mud. IMHO

Just an update to this thread... I finally got my tins back after police involvement. I am happy I got them but sad that it had to come to this to get it taken care of.

I read about this a while back on another forum. Seems like this guys reputation has been taking a beating for a while. I'm glad to see that you got your parts back but you never did fill anyone in on why it happened. For all we know, the guy could have been running from drug dealers, cops or an ex wife. What's the story behind all this?

Hey Guys..Sorry..I just checked back on the thread..Lots of times I post...then just minimize the window...whats odd about that? I do read other stuff too. I like all bikes.
To answer your question.... I really dont know what caused him to act like this..no one does other than him. ..the excuse that was given was that he told the Detective we got on the case that he got behind...got upset at everyone blowin up his phone, email, PM's etc. So he decided the best way to remedy that was to change his #, close his Email acct..which it turns out he never did that part, Moved to a new town, Closed up his paint business, Closed his website, stopped visiting the forum and dropped all contact with everyone that he owed money/work to. He had completed my work back in March and even sent me the pics of it, but he never sent the tins out. They were even already boxed up and ready to go. Then he stated that he got busy with moving and just didnt realize that so much time had passed.
So....the real reason...WHO KNOWS.
But I am happy I got my tins back and they are Painted ...very well at that... He has an amazing talent..there is no doubt about that. Its too bad he ruined his name and Rep. by doing all this. The other guys that got parts back...got back misc stuff that is unfinished and damaged...not what they sent him so they are pretty upset still.
My gallery on the site has new pics just uploaded this weekend. LOHRTBT is my name on there also.

Glad to hear everything turned out okay and that you did get your tins back and painted pretty well from what I read. How about posting a picture of the finished product from this guy? I know no one else has asked, but I for one would like to see the work that this guy is capable of doing. Yes this is HD Forums and you don't ride one, so what? I'm sure there's no one here that reads on other non Harley forums is there?
