I have the Cruz Tool kit I keep in a standard HD bag fastened to the rear direction lights behind the licence plate of my '07 Superglide custom.
Access isn't easy (best thing is to remove the detachable sissy bar to access it).
I also keep a ratchet with an adapter, a longer shaft with one of those couplings that rotate like a knee, don't know how it's called in english, sorry.
It's to take down spark plugs.
Oh, and larger locking pliers and a bottle of thread locker.
Some annealed iron wire, duck tape and epoxy putty sit on the bottom of a bag, with the rear shocks wrench (i adjust the rear suspension for solo or passenger riding).
I've used the tool kit a lot, to remove the standard mufflers and install the new Khrome Werks, to install the chromed coil cover and the new grips, to set the hand controls in the most comfortable position, to do some minor servicing (cleaning the air filter and such) and to do some repairs that had nothing to do with my bike but I could do since I had a tool set with me .
I'm very pleased with this tool kit, really.

I gotta put together kit just wrapped in shop rags to keep from banging about...I like the idea of the soft ammo case -- Thanks for the idea AtkRWC.
