I was in Durango on the Missionary Ridge Fire a few year ago. Lots of beautiful country up that way. No wonder things look better now!

ORIGINAL: dert

I cooled off for a week in Durango, Mesa Verde and Pagosa Springs and back in time for the Tx State HOG rally.
Wish you had called me. We could have shared a beverage, taltale and a kodak moment.

Regards,

Bill

bill,I had no idea you were in Bloomfield until I looked.Sorry and I certainly wouldve called while I was there...The scenery and history were great.I have visited most Indian ruins in Co. and NM.We were at Mesa Verde some years back when the fires uncovered some new arceaological findings .We usually spend time in Durango to look for white turquoise but I believe its all gone now.The area around Bloomfield is beautiful( wish ida known, you could have at least slapped some sense into me and I coulda bought you a cold one).......

You ever take that old steam locomotive out of Durango? When we moved back to Colorado (before we moved back out) I wanted to get my son out there, but never made it. Haven't been on it since I was 8 or so.

Weve done the locomotive twice and it gets more fun everytime..Zombie :.. Harley:We took Roxie Dee to the HOG rally early sat am.and she watched the parade on the sidelines with my wife.We looked for you and even had you paged at the opening ceremonies on Thursday...Bailey,thats a good name for a doxie..bet shes a cutie.Mine has grown so attached to me.At the HOG parade, she saw me ride by and went to screaming and jumped out of wifes arms and straight for me...of course,I had to double back and sit the rest of the parade out.Harley,I got a thing for little Dogs and big Hogs.Im sure Bailey will try to fill the void Laci lefty,(they try you know).Happy for you !!
