I'm here in Oki ask we speak. Live on Foster and work on Courtney.
There is a smaller dealer way down south but probably not worth the trip as they have less in stock than the one on 58.
I never looked at the sizes, could not get past the prices.
There is a biker shop outside Kadena gate 2 called Al's Cycles.
You may find something in there.
If you plan on renting a bike, give me a shout and I can show you around.
Ask someone to give you directions to Al's yum yum tree (if they are still in business) for the shirt. Also, you need to go visit "Habu world" and to thru the cave. The restaurant at Habu world sells fish heads on a bed of rice if you are interested. I passed.
Thanks for all the quick responses,Hoggy we went to Moto freak this afternoon and picked up a couple of shirts....Thanks for the heads up there. Freefall thanks for the offer but we are leaving in the mourning 10 days is long enough!! Besides if I see another scooter you all know why!!In the 10 days I think we visited every point of interest on the Island, alot of beautiful sites and alot of History.
man - brought back some memories - also there in 72 and 73
was in the army but barracks were at kadena. worked at naha port.

Yum Yum Tree has been closed for at least 6 months.
They run all their sales out of the shop on Gate 2 Street (Al's Cycles).
That was a great place out on 6 right on the beach.
Man, I don't know how it is now, but back in the late 70's, you could have just about anything you wanted made right before your eyes just off Kadena Air Base. I think it was called BC street. Or maybe that was where the hookers were. Sucks getting old. Either way, just off base is where I'd go and have some made to suit you.
3 tours on Oki is BC street still around? Last time I was there 1986. Changed quite a bit since 1979. Semper Fi
BC Street is now called Park Blvd.
They changed the name a few years back trying to clean up the image.
Different name, still the same old bars as far as I can tell.
First time here was in 1986 with the 11th MAU (MEU).
Don't hang out there as much as I did when I was a lot younger...........
