Exactly....And the people there are really cool. I haven't seen it personally, but friends have told me that if you have a little too much to drink they will put you in one of the cabins for the night and put your bike in the bar out of the weather and away from critters.
The biggest difference between 29 and IH is the type of riders that go. The road that goes to 29 is VERY curvy and is nicknamed The Copperhead. Therefore alot of crotch rockets go there and Tim tends to cater to them a little more. Also can be dangerous to ride there because of the idiots. IH on the otherhand have more Harleys and other cruisers going there. You might be sitting there talking to a bunch from the US Military Vets MC (Great guys) or some guys from the Boozefighters MC (Great guys also) or some indys out for the day. But all are pretty much like minded. If your in the area, give them a shot.
"Splendid Comfort" is a relative term. If I were sleeping on the ground in a tent looking out the flap at an air conditioned one room cabin with no plumbing but a comfortable bed, I might consider that "Splendid Comfort". If I were sleeping under a plastic tarp draped across 2 motorcycles and no sleeping bag (which I have done) but could see a comfy tent set up with an air matress and pillow inside, I may consider that "Splendid Comfort.
