Did a search but can't find the answer to this.......
Do the Filtered Valve Cores fit Harleys or are they not needed? TIA
I don't believe they do, but it don't know of anyone that has used the 'filtered valve stems' as they really aren't needed.
Just screw out the valve stem (on either tubed or tubeless tires), pour in the correct amount of beads, air up and you are good to go.
On my bikes I normally use right at 1.5 ounces of the beads in narrow 21" type tires, and right at 2.5 ounces in the larger rear tires....
Even without using the filtered stems I've never had a problem, and I check air pressure in my tires very frequently....
Another good thing is that the beads can be 'reused', and it's especially easy if you have tube tires... When you replace tires just use the same tube (with beads already installed) as tubes usually last a long time.
