I need to replace my stock stereo because it took a dump. Im thinking of upgrading my speakers and adding an amp as well. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I should look.
I just did the standard (no amps) biketronics upgrade on my '09 EG Standard...could not be easier..... or happier with the end result
check out the biketronics install sticky in the touring section of this forum
Yes I did and I did it myself. I installed a Alpine iDA-X305, KTP-445 amp, and a pair of kicker speakers. It was real easy to install. I went over to Hawg Wired and picked up there kit for after market installs. It sounds and looks great.
Thanks for the response. I have a 2003 Classic. I originally installed the high output sound system when I purchased the bike. The amplifier just took a dump. I just installed a Biketronics system, with a front amp and rear speakers. I also installed Sirius. All the controls work with my handlebar switches. The system blows away the old Harley high output system.
