Is it much worse than normal? Listen carefully to the engine near the cam chest (don't burn your head, long story) and see if you have a noticeable clatter in that area. Is the performance off? Mileage dropping off? Maybe cam chain tensioners. If you have any of the symptoms that I had it would be worthwhile to have it checked out. If you are still under warranty the tensioners are covered.
It is possible that what you are hearing is "normal". Twin Cam engines are inherrantly noisey ~ espically the valve train.
I once complained about it to the a dealership and they told me to get the Syn3 oil out of it and it would quiet back down. I took that with a grain of salt, as I do many of the things they tell me. Interestingly, I made the switch to AMSoil and guess what....????.... The d*&n thing runs a whole bunch quieter than it did with Syn3.
Bottom line.... it's probably nothing, but if you're not comfortable making that call.... have it checked out so you can either put your mind at ease or resolve whatever the issue is....

I would check it out considering he is complaining about it at 24K miles. To complain about them at that mileage it is more likely that it recently happened.
