Hay guys need a little help, 03 fxdl the service manual diagram seems to show the engine oil drain plug on the side of the block is this correct[] if so then how does all the oil drain out shouldnt the plug be on the bottom, the lowest point on the pan like on cages or am i lookink at this picture incorrectly[]

You're looking at the book correctly. I just walked out and looked at mine (02 FXDL). The drain plug is on the right side of the oil sump, on the vertical side, but it's right at the bottom. The oil drains just fine, even if the bike is on a lift. I do all my maintenance, and it's odd looking, but it empties out just fine. [&:]
