Welcome to the forum! I don't want to be the first to tell you, but no one else has so here goes. Do yourself a big favor and invest in a Service manual for your bike. It will be one of the best investments you can make. Also buy yourself a good quality jack too. The initial investment may seem high, but once you look at what the dealer charges for services your investment will pay for its self very quickly.

You will have the oil drain plug and tranny drain plug on the underside of the bike. The best thing for a picture would be a service manual and a manual is a great investment and can really help you do several other things yourself. The only other thing might be youtube...sometimes people post such videos on youtube so might be worth checking out. If all of that fails then I believe your oil drain plug should be the one towards the front left side of the pan. The tranny drain plug will be facing straight down on the underside of the pan and maybe double check this before draining. If all else fails and you pull out the wrong one it will just cost you another quart of oil to put back into the tranny. The only other thing is if you are running syn. oil then you would only need to change your oil every 5000 miles but I'm not sure what you are putting in for oil so good luck.

yes, oil drain plug is at the front left of the oil pan- facing the front of the bike.

the trans drain plug is facing the ground, on the right side of the oil pan.

you may need to replace the rubber O rings when you do this.

DO NOT overtighten the steel plugs into the aluminum oil pan!

the factory service manual is the one- don;t bother with the clymer or haynes- way too general.
