Maybe a carpet in the garage and a little Iron Butterfly or Moody Blues while your bike sleeps would help.

I got the same problem.
The first sign I hear my OL says she needs somethin at the store...I'm heading for the garage. When I ride over to the beer and wine store (the closest one is a few blocks) I always head out to the one out of town and it could take me a few hours to make the trip.
Plus, just so you know... I don't drink and ride, so I get my Deluxe "fix" first.

I dont drink and ride either, so riding has curbed my drinking, but only long enough to at some point desire to get home, park the bike and have a few.
The 2 go hand in hand, the desire to ride, the desire park it to have a beer.

Should keep me alive and married longer....

Don't know why, but the addiction took hold this yr. I've had it since I bought new in 05. It's also blk. cherry, a 1200cc custom Sporty. Around town ect. has turned into longer and longer trips. Can't wait to go for a wk. or 2 trip ! I was origionally from Bayport L.I. We have a nice long Riding season In Florida, but it has been pretty hot in the afternoons. Lots of rain this yr. but my addiction has fixed that problem !

Just did 4,152 miles to Sturgis and back in 9 days. Friends/family/other riders have asked how the hind end is doing. I'm ready to do the trip again tomorrow if my checking account would let me...
