If you look for the USA made tees, they don't shrink as bad. I believe they are the Hayne's ones. I have a few real thin dealer shirts that were from china or some such Asian land and after one wash/dry i had to give em to the ol lady. I guess its only fair since she paid for them
The way I see it, I get more material in my shirts than the "smaller sizes". I get the XXXL so they shrink down to a XXL. Since I retired, I've picked up a few. I seriously need to stop the Chinese Buffets.
Me and my crew always buy one size bigger... I also only buy shirts on the clearance rack. Being a 2x regularly, and a 3x in harley shirts and they run smaller and shrink more. There always seems to be some on the clearance rack. Picked up two shirts for the cost on one new design shirt at its regular price.
Is it just me, but what the heck is going on with the t-shirts from the dealers. You by a XL shirt for a little room, wash it twice then the damn thing is a size large. Just me or is anybody else experiencing this? Maybe I should reduce my intake of them beer brats or the beer.
they're 100% cotton which shrinks badly. Only way to avoid is wash in cold water, shake it out, and hang dry it or buy 2xl
I 'm with you on the size. If I but an XL it's always too big even after washing. Looks like a potato sack. So I always get large but the large gets just a tad too small after washing! Can't win.
