SE intake. I was running the open element with Harley cover on just the center. Found this ol Panhead cover which I like but I wonder if it's overly restrictive of air flow,only has about 1/4 in. clearance from the filter element. Seems to run ok though.

Well, I decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to go ahead and run the wiring inside the bars too.
My 13 YO son helped me, and we got one side done in about 3.5 hours. We cut and spliced everything. Extended the control wiring, and took the excess out of the turn signal wiring.
Also spent some of the time teaching him to solder.
Thanks to you guys on here, I just couldnt wait any longer. I ordered me a set of the Kuryakyn fork mounts as well,... I also ordered me a new chrome headlight assembly. I was thinking of running my wires through the bars as well. I figure that moving the signals, installing the headlight assembly and rerouting the wires through the bars would be a good Sunday project.
