2002 dyna low rider---engine noise?
Check out this video. it is the third i have taken...i am new to harleys and feel that mine is making a weird noise...due to financial concerns i am trying to get some feedback as to what it may be before i take it in. if its normal sound let me know. thanks. RIDE SAFE.

1st off How many miles on it ? second did you buy it used ? and 3rd does it sound like its coming from just behind the cone..If Yes to #3 and more than say 25 to 30K by that sound I suspect CAM Chain Tension Shoe and Would NOt run it until I knew for Sure..

Mileage? Cam case sounds a little noisy but without knowing if any work has been done to it I can't give a good answer. My 03 Heritage has gear drive in the cam case and it sounds like an Evo to me now. Most people have been finding the inside shoes wore more than the outside. Don't be fooled if you only look at the outside tensioner shoe.
