Thats quite a scooter. If it was me I'd go over there with $3,000 cash money and wave it around in front of him, telling him that's all I've got. A pretty low-ball offer but you never know.

I'd have to "put my paws" on it, first. But that $$ is at the upper end of the spectrum, in this economy. IF it is put together WELL, and handles WELL, then deal.
IF you are looking for a chopper, guess it is a 'good deal', for you. But you best be wanting one, bad. Unless you have xtra $$, and are jus' lookin' for "toyz". JMFUO, as 'ooze-ual'.

Clutch issues ?????? IT'S an IRONHEAD, isn't it ????? IMFUO, EVERYONE should 'start out' on a 68 Ironhead, kicker. IF you can git it runnin', keep it runnin', and ride it for ONE SEASON, ANYTHING you git, after that, will be YOUR DREAM RIDE !!!!!!! Bwahahahahaha

what are the clutch "issues?" because if the clutch is shot and you need a new one you can easily knock 500-600 off. also, like others have said, for some reason bikes without stock frames and all moded up go for less, if i had the cash i don't think 3600-3900 would be outta the question.
but also like others have said, i hope yr lookin for a toy and not a daily commuter or somehting...you will be tinkerin with that thing from the first ride.....but of course if yr like me thats part of the fun
