Dunno about everyone else, but to me the shovel was Harley's best looking engine. Especially in a chopped bike! I love seeing shoveheads being ridden...
Thanks again guys. A little info on it...The frame was stretched up about 6" by a local guy by the name of Sonny Keeton. The tank is a 7 gallon tank with a 6" stretch on it. The oil tank is from a Harley Rocker which I had modified to clear the rear primary cover. The dash is also from a Harley Rocker and has an aftermarket speedo with a cobalt blue back light. The front end is a 12" over Paughco Springer. The wheels are RC Components Vega's with matching sprocket and disc rotors. The rear is a 17x5.5 with a 180 series tire and the front is a 21x2.15. The "Old Shovel" is a stroker. It recieved a cleanup on the jugs being bored out to .040 over and a new cam. The tranny is the stock 4spd w/ kicker. The rear suspension is an Arnott Air ride system with Chrome Bilstein shocks. This winter she may get an upgrade to a baker 6-into-4 if she's nice to me...lol.
The whole project has taken almost a year. I tore her down after returning from Sturgis last year and got her back on the road only a few weeks ago. I still have a few more mods that I want to do but for now it's ridin' time.
