I've been ridin' 35 of my 45 yrs., and the way to get yer busted wings was, if you were involved in an accident, drunk- or not, that you were hospitalized for...broken leg, arm, head-neck, or, whatever and you got back on to ride again. Years ago...Yer partner, bro', would have given you a set after you had gotten back on that horse and rode again. I myself have a set from the 70's and am lookin' for a new patch due to bein' shot off mine......

I get shot off my bike all the time. Once I'm out of the hospital, I get right back on.
Dang, if I don't get shot again. But I keep on riding cuz I'm a freekin biker, getting shot at all the time. Go ahead, shoot me, I don't care.

To add some seriousness to this post in case someone wants an HD broken wings patch, HD doesn't make them any more. You can find them on Ebay however. My Father in Law gave me on when I ruptured my spleen in my accident.
