I don't know how you do it. I've gotten so used to being able to stretch out on my bike, the Nightster just seems tiny.

Is the pipes the only worry for scraping the corners can that be fixed by going with diffrent pipes? I only ask cuz im about to buy a Nightster and I have been eyeing the V&H short shots also I think he said foot pegs also hit the ground easy what about forward controls does that do anything for that prob other then move the prob forward? Anyone have a Nightster with short shots and forward controls on it that could give me any info or headsup would be greatfull thanks !

+1 on checking the Sportster section.

I have an Iron, but my friend has a N.
Only complaint I've ever heard is on speed bumps he bottoms out if he doesn't avoid them or speed up.

The pegs hit first when cornering. It's a shame really, 'cause the bike is really tossable. It just grounds itself too early.

I scrape the bolt on the exhaust clamp of the front pipe. I don't have Short Shots, I have the Straight Shot slip-ons.

The pegs have these removable feelers that will scrape first, unless you remove them, as I did.

Righton man thanks for the info how much room does the feelers buy you anything notable?

I notice alot of ppl are poping on new shocks to help out with it does that take away from the low look and feel of the bike? thoughts/input?

A longer set of rear shocks would work wonders, but (IMO) would ruin the look of the bike.
