I know exactly where he lives. While I think he is a dumba#$ you gotta give him credit for his verbal skills. I really think he was just a real nerd who got dumped on by some bikers he wanted to ride with, they happened to ride harleys. If he had thought that Suzikawas were cool he probably would have been rejected by metric riders and would have a Suzikawa hate site. I really do not give a crap what he thinks about me, harley-davidson, or any harley rider. I do think he is an arrogant SOB.
My business partner and I are having a PIG party for all of our friends who recently acquired bikes. One of the scheduled events is a run to his house where we will ride up and down the road in front of his single wide trailor. If he wants to become an A-hole and comes out to the road ....well I guess I will just see what he says. He will have his cop buddies out there within just a few minutes, so no drinking before the run.
He is an intelligent guy to some degree but is totally mistaken in his underlying theme. Performance is not everything. Performance really means nothing, any stock bike will let you break every speed limit out there. So actually chrome is more valuable than performance, at least it increases visability.
When I first read his page I wanted to go hand him his a$$. Luckily, I didnt find out where he lived until I realized he was a moron and that I didnt give a crap what he said. But if there were no redress (cops and courts) for a good ol country a$$ whoopin I would probably bring one to him.
all of those sites you listed are activist and tree hugger forums....what were you expecting to find there? we already knew that they are psycopathic hate mongers...hell they hate everybody....

Morons at the keyboard aside....if we can't stick together as motorcyclists, we will certainly fall together.
You got that right. It's no different than the gun rights issue. "Who needs a pistol with a 15 round magazine?" ( Who needs a 200 mph car?) Or farmer joe, who says "long as I kin keep my dubble burrel , I don't care bout no sault rifles". (Once they take my HK91, your double is next on the list)
If we do not respond/act as one, we will get the **** kicked out of us when dumb *** legislation is introduced. I don't care if you ride a damn Yammy, Suzi, Honda, Harley, or a $50,000 custom, we have got to stick together.
Yeah,i know the posted links aren't bike forums...i can't find the one i was looking for...a sportbike forum with rants as ridiculous as these. I should know better than to be suckered in by these a-holes. I actually sent an e mail to the arrogant bastard with the anti H.D. site and intelligently...and politely...explained that he is missing half the fun of riding by concentrating solely on speed and performance..i'm sure i'll regret it. Just think that bickering over which brand we ride is counterproductive given the current state of things regarding our freedoms...and the extent to which this ******** goes is amazing.
Seeing as this is a day old thread, Im not knowing how active, Say I purchase my bike used, and its got an overly loud exhaust, whats a slip on? Reasonable price? I dont like the idea that they are going to make it law that before I can ride I have to make sure I do it quietly. Not that I mind, I kind of like the stock sound, but I hope Im not stepping on anyone here. I know How to make noise, I just dont know if its the right way for me. I am not the sort to make loud my style. but I dont think it should be illeagle to modify my vehicle. People who race brackets run mufflers with dumps, aint that right? It sounds to me like blatant predjudice against bikes.
