he'll be fine...i agree, peeps oughta leave him alone, an accident can happen to anyone...media goes ape-$hit over the helmet thing...hope he's alright
The alarmist media is making this helmet thing a huge deal. Watch some "safety ****" PA politician try to grab some ink by introducing a bill to repeal the "helmet optional" law.
No one seems too upset about the fact he had no license, or a cager almost killed him - it's all about the helmet. Dumb azzes!
He's saying all the things he has to say to appease the alarmists. Good PR move. Once they have all heard what they want to hear and get all puffed up and proud of themselves they will go away like a cloud of knats and forget all about him. What ever Ben does is up to him, but for now throw the dogs a bone.

Exactly - He is doing the dance his owners and the NFL folks want him to do - And the ApeKing is on to something - I see a federal helemt law being proposed shortly - What I don't understand is if it could stand up in the courts - Would it be a violation of "states rights" to impose a law like that?
I dont see a federal helmet law per se. What I see is the same way feds enforce drinking age. Take away fed road funds if such and such state doesn't have a helmet law. [:@]
