Looks like a good unit, albeit expensive for what it is. I've seen Sahara cooling vests on sale as low as $39.00, and others listed on THIS page.
I recently ordered and received my Party Animal Cooling Vest which, according to the website, will stay cool for up to 8-12 hours. I think it's not the standard 'wet' shirt type deal. Most of them aren't.

Never tried one of those but I do use Under Armor cooling shirts. Designed for sports other than motorcycling I guess, but they work well. You can wear 'em under a shirt, but I usually wear them instead. Just looks like a black (or white) T shirt.

I have one New Generation Men's Classic Cooling Vest and absolutly love it! Its one of those things you pay a little for, but never regret the purchase once you use it.
