Some else posted a thread about this here but it didn't have a link to the story.

I can't help wondering if the SUV driver didn't do it on purpose. The witness said the traffic was doing 70MPH and "everything was normal" and then this dude slams on his brakes causing the pile-up!

Tough to judge the SUV drivers actions if you were not there, the main contributor to the number of bikes involved was that they were riding to fast to close. I am sure that they were good riders to get away with such tight formations for so long. However, just being in the street is risky enough. Raising the risk factor by running at 70 mph or more and riding so close that it is impossible to avoid each other will cause you grief sooner or later.

So, according to your own statement, you were there...tell us what happened.

Where in his post did it say he was there? He was just giving his opinion on going fast in a tight formation....one that I for one agree with...sooner or later it's gonna bring trouble...I've personally seen it.

So how fast were the motorcyclists going and how close were they together? Apparently you have the all the facts.

His posted stated "the main contributor to the number of bikes involved was that they were riding to fast to close"

So either he was an eye-witness or just spit ballin' - hate to think it was the latter of the two.
