not my style but nice the ,question of the hour what does he want for the bike
he's got 40 ,000 wrapped up in it so like 20,000 inquiring minds want to know .
I have the bike home now, asking price is like asking a lady her age, lol, I will admit it was a good price.
well ok then congrats on the bike , we were just trying to figure what the point of the post was because the question was kinda vague and if you have been here any length of time you can probably expect those type of questions to come up was not trying to step on your toes .
No worries, I thought it was a cool ride when I was looking at buying it. Just wanted to check with the community and get some opinions, everyone here seems to like it more than my buddies. Needed the positive input, I feel good about my purchase now, the bike is still listed on sellharleys.com (as SOLD) and you can see all the pictures and video of it. Its on page 3. I just finished installing signal lights on it to pass the federal inspection, and have to get a horozontal plate mount (cant use the verticle mount here) Installed a running/Brake/Turn Signal module as well so my signal lights are all of the above.
I think I am going to go with the Vance & Hines black ceramic coated pipes with the chrome tips.
Tough looking ride. I don't think the blued pipes are necessarily a sign of a too lean tune. Back in the day before the Jap bikes with thicker chrome plated pipes, all bikes had blue pipes once they were broke in. No one I knew ran heat shields to hide the blue or protect their sensitive skin. OK, we all have scars on the inside of our right calf.
Nice solo ride, good luck with it. I kinda like the pipes & the bluing looks bad (in a good way). I think a lot of riders here would be surprised if they took their heat shields off.
