seems to me that your friends bike was not worth anything anyway if he didnt want to fully insure it.my state has no fault you dont cover your stuff for collision you dont get payed no way no how.

I'm an insurance agent in the state of Michigan. Michigan is a no fault state and the property damage portion of her insurance would pay for your bike if it happened in Michigan because the bike was parked. You're probably in a fault state and you have to prove she's at fault to collect. In your case, her insurance company is denying fault with that silly excuse which means they're saying you'll have to sue. You should be able to sue in small claims court but I'd talk to an attorney. Most states insurance companies can be penalized for frivolously denying a claim.
